NACHSA Urges Congress to Increase Federal Investment in Foster Youth Programs

On April 10, NACHSA sent a letter to the Chair and Ranking Member of the U.S. House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Work and Welfare applauding the Subcommittee’s bipartisan leadership in introducing legislation aimed at improving programs supporting youth aging out of foster care. The letter calls for additional federal funding to implement proposed changes to these programs, which cannot currently serve all eligible youth in every state. Read the letter here.
